How to create Bordered tables (Vertical & Horizontal lines) in OpenERP reports


1). Open your OpenERP Report Designer and Click on Server Parameters

2). Select your server and port

3). we are going to add a new table in Sales Quotation, click modify Existing Report.

4). from the list we can select SalesOrder-Quotation / Order

5). Once its open you can add aSection from Insert tab.

6). Give a name for your new Section.

7). insert Colomns from the Table icon.

8). As per your requirement you can choose number of Columns in the table .

9). select all the table and hide border color (ref. image)

10). Now you can add new Table (eg:- Row 1 x column 5 ) same as we added early. here row border will not work in the reports, thats why we are giving multiple tables, if you want 5 rows then you have to add 5 tables.

12). Select columns you need to give borders and give the borders from the border properties.
